The inaugural season of the Canada Super60, held from 8th to 18th October 2025 at BC Place, Vancouver, marked a breakthrough moment for cricket in North America. Featuring six franchises—Brampton Blitz, Mississauga Masters, Montreal Tigers, Vancouver Kings, Toronto Sixers, and Whiterock Warriors—the tournament brought together some of the world’s biggest stars including Quinton de Kock, Shakib Al Hasan, Moeen Ali, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Chris Lynn, and Imran Tahir, alongside Canada’s leading talent such as Navneet Dhaliwal, Nicholas Kirton, and Dilpreet Bajwa. With men’s and women’s matches staged under one roof, the Canada Super60 delivered high-intensity cricket that resonated with fans worldwide.

SMW’s Role: Commercial Rights, Broadcast Production, Media Rights, Sports Event Consultancy

  • Commercial Rights Holder: SMW Global held the Commercial Rights for the Canada Super60, supporting the league’s commercial framework and ensuring brand visibility across digital and broadcast platforms. SMW contributed to shaping the overall commercial structure while enabling consistent and professional brand integration throughout the tournament.
  • Media Rights Distribution: SMW Global played a key role in distributing the league’s international media rights, giving Canada Super60 a global broadcast footprint. Through SMW’s network, the tournament was available across major cricket markets—including North America, Australia, the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, and other regions—allowing fans worldwide to follow the action live.
  • Sports Event Consultancy: SMW worked alongside Cricket Canada and Star333 Sports to provide on-ground event consultancy, covering venue readiness, scheduling support, match operations, and fan-facing activities. SMW’s role helped ensure a smooth and well-executed inaugural edition of North America’s fastest-growing T10 cricket league.
