UCI – HERO Costa Blanca Marathon World Cup — Spain 2026

The 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup opened its season on 21 February 2026 with the HERO Costa Blanca in Calpe-Benissa, Spain. Set against the Mediterranean backdrop and rugged Sierra de Bernia terrain, the race featured 80–90 km courses with challenging climbs, rocky descents and fast gravel sections, attracting 1,000+ elite and amateur riders from around the world.

The event was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the world governing body for cycling, responsible for regulating and promoting all international cycling disciplines including road, track, mountain bike and BMX.
